NEWMARKET, Ontario (December 9, 2002)–We are live – with over 10,000 lessons a mere click away! Linkonlearning would like to thank all of our testers and teachers who have contributed to the betterment of our site. Besides our new look, our main goal was to rebuild the site in order to make it easier to use.
We have added many features which contribute to our new functionality. For example, by choosing a flag at the top of the page, it will display the site’s content in English, French, Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. We also have an online chat room which allows visitors to speak with a Linkonlearning representative and ask questions about our program. In addition, our new curriculum section outlines our curriculum and has examples of our lessons. In the about us section, visitors can read about who we are as a company and what we offer.
By registering as a parent, guardian or teacher users receive a username and password which allows them to log into our lounge area. For all parents, guardians and teachers, registration is free. In the lounge, users can enter our children’s section, which gives detailed information about each component of our program. In addition, the process of adding and administering students has been completely rebuilt, allowing parents to easily change their students course registration, view their report card or change their password.
